Buzz for the Next Version of Final Cut Studio Begins

In what could be one of the most low-key/big-deal teasers in video editing software history, Final Cut Studio training guru (and all-around good guy) Larry Jordan has something to say: He's seen the next version of Final Cut Pro and it is "jaw dropping."

Larry posted that teaser on his blog, along with a reminder that he is under an NDA from Apple, and he's said all he can say: for now... Larry promises to share his thoughts on Final Cut first with his newsletter subscribers, so you might want to head to his site and sign up.

As an avid Final Cut Pro user, I've been waiting nervously for details on the next version of FCP. would it stay relatively unchanged, or get the radical (and maligned) iMovie interface overhaul? Would it ever catch up to, and surpass Premiere in 64bit performance? It looks like the answers to those questions might be mere weeks away, most likely coinciding with the National Association of Broadcasters Convention in early April.

(Thanks to Brooke for the tip!)
