Steve Jobs Flies Under The Radar. Literally.

When you or I take to the skies, our every move is tracked and available to the public at large. Sites like FlightAware track the every move and flight plans for (nearly) all planes in the sky. And what happens when Steve Jobs flies? Well, if he's in his private jet, you'll never know it.

Jobs' plane, with the simple tail marking/license of N2N has been removed from the database sites like FightAware use to show in-progress flights, as well as flight history. You can still get basic details on the plane, like the fact that it's a 1999 Gulfstream with 20 seats, and a BMW Rolls 700 Series engine (two of them).

Before you get too worked up, thinking there's any kind of conspiracy related to the blackout of details on Jobs' plane, or that it's all somehow related to the "Worldwide Loyalty Team" black ops, we've since discovered this is actually not a particularly rare, or difficult thing for a private jet owner to do.

So if you thought you'd know when Jobs was about to touch down in your town, and ask for that tablet prototype back, think again. He could land at any moment...
