Retro Tech Tuesday: Jeff Goldblum "drunk" Shilling For Apple

Jeff Goldblum had quite a ride in the 90's with Apple. Heck he even saved the world (spoiler alert!) with the help of a Powerbook in Independence Day. His voiceovers were part of several Apple ads. And although we know its juvenile, there's something about this slowed down Goldblum clip to make him seem "drunk," that we just can't get enough of:

Retro Tech Tuesday: Coleco Head To Head Handheld Football

If you don't remember anything else from this ad, remember "Electronic! Pulses! of Light!"

I've got to wonder if it wasn't just the price of the Lisa, but also this ad's implication that you'd have to work all night if you bought one. Both Costner and Apple went on to do okay:

Retro Tech Tuesday: Sharp Calculator (LC-8)

And here you thought the iPad was overpriced... Granted, the Sharp LC-8 did give you "all the calculator know-how you'll probably ever need," but at $345 it was definitely a rich man's (or accountant's) best friend only. Now does that 99-cent calculator app seemed overpriced?
