This just in.. please use caution if driving... Apple Inc. has reported its third quarter results, and... it turns out the company sold a bunch of things, and made a lot of money doing it.

Let's add some numbers to make it more "real."

3.27 iPads sold in the quarter.

9.4 million iPods.

3.47 million Macs.

All revenue numbers are way, way up. For example, gross revenue for the quarter was $15.7billion compared to "just" $ 9.7 billion in the same quarter last year.
