Stickies Episode 2: Comic-Con Review
Friday, July 31, 2009 at 9:34AM
We need to buy a couch here TDL HQ that doesn't have such wide gaps between the cushions. In episode two of Stickies, Jamie gives us a review of the happenings at Comic-Con in San Diego. A review that would've been more timely at the beginning of the week, but it fell through the cracks of the aforementioned couch.
Still, as TDL go-to expert on all things comics (although comics seem to make up less and less of Comic-Con each year.) we wanted to make sure you heard what Jamie has to say. Just substitute "last weekend" when he says "this weekend."
Enjoy!

I agree with Jamie concerning Apple TV. The last report from several Wall Street pun-dents; estimate that Apple TV’s sale numbers is around 3 million and Apple is making a nice profit off the device. Apple as usual has not offered any comments one way or another. There is a great deal of speculation about a major hardware update but nothing has materialize. Sadly Apple has given the device very little support or promotion. I have found many third party solutions that has allow ATV to go beyond Apple's limitations; such as awkwardtv, appletvhacks, Boxee and etc. Instead of embracing these enhancement Apple has chosen to keep Apple TV in it's wall garden by removing third party software with every ATV update. It makes one think that Apple must has something plan for Apple TV.
