DoubleTap Episode 9

We've got two solid apps to share with you on this week's DoubleTap. First up is the physics-based game Angry Birds, and then a look at Freeverse's Slotz Racer. And of course a little bit of app store news sandwiched in between:

DoubleTap Episode Eight

Get out those iPhones, it's time once again for DoubleTap! This week we look at the shoot 'em up flying game Platypus (full review here) and we bring you the first look at an app that shows why Android can't hope to catch the iPhone: Farting Boobs...

DoubleTap Episode Six

The two games in this week's episode of DoubleTap span the extremes of iPhone / iPod Touch gaming. On one end, it's the silly novelty stylings of Santa Vs. Zombies, and at the other end is Hoggy, a decent platform game that borrows heavily from 8 and 16-bit classics. So whether you feel like getting in the holiday spirit mowing down zombie reindeer, or looking for the challenge of games gone-by, we've got both:

Don't forget, now you can subscribe to DoubleTap through iTunes.

DoubleTap Episode Three

We take a look at a few Halloween-appropriate holdovers this week: Dead Panic, and Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor. We talk about Apple's app milestone, and no hip chat would be complete without mentioning "The Shack."

And for the record, we were looking at the camera, so I'm not sure why it looks like we're watching something way off to the side in this episode. Don't let that distract you from what has to be one of our top three shows so far...

DoubleTap Episode Two

It was a fairly slow week for App Store news, other than Apple officially crossing the 100,000 app mark. So in this week's DoubleTap, we spent most of the time checking out two new apps. The first person shooter Eliminate Pro, and the Comic book reader app Comixology. Oh, and there's a mercifully edited chat about former MTV VJ Kennedy.

Enjoy:
